ASTM A182 Grade F6NM / EN 1.4313 (X3CrNiMo13-4) Super Martensitic Stainless Steel
F6NM, also known as UNS S41500 and German standard EN 1.4313, is a low-carbon nickel-molybdenum alloyed super martensitic stainless steel, specified under ASTM A182, A276, A479 and EN 10088-3.

With controlled low carbon, 13% chromium, 4% nickel and 0.7% molybdenum, F6NM delivers high tensile strength, exceptional sub-zero impact toughness down to -60°C, improved weldability and outstanding resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and sulfide stress cracking (SSC), fully compliant with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour oil & gas environments.

After solution annealing at 1025–1065°C followed by double tempering at 595–620°C, the material achieves a maximum hardness of 23 HRC for sour service applications. It exhibits excellent cavitation erosion resistance, making it ideal for hydraulic and hydro power components.

Main applications: valve bodies, valve stems, pump shafts, turbine blades, hydro runner parts, forged flanges and pipeline fittings in petroleum, petrochemical, marine, power generation and hydropower industries.
